One Sandwich at a Time aims to raise awareness and empathy for the growing homeless population in New York City, and beyond.  Our goal is to create a global movement; an awakening of humanity and the necessity of helping others.  One Sandwich at a Time urges others to do what they can to help.  We want to motivate individuals to donate time, food, and ideas to help us help the homeless.  

We gather quarterly to make sandwiches!  Please keep up with us through our website, facebook or twitter pages for more information!  If you are not able to attend an event, we encourage you to do what you can to help; to simply make a sandwich, hand it to a person in need, and know that you had a direct impact on another's life.

We may not be able to solve this crisis today, but at least we can help another human being make it to their next meal.
